GEARBOX SPECIFICATIONS

NORAM’s 61100 REDUCTION GEARBOX, 21100 REDUCTION GEARBOX, AND 6175N REDUCTION GEARBOX come with the recommended oil necessary to pore in after mounting it on the engine, and bottles of replacement oil can be purchased from NORAM.

Eight (8) oz. of oil is required for the 61100 and 21100 reduction gearbox, and four (4) oz. of oil is required for the 6175N reduction gearbox.

However, we realize that under varying circumstances you may feel the need to service your gearbox. When changing the oil, we always recommend using the NORAM gearbox oil. If however, NORAM oil is not available, the following list contains oils which are adequate substitute oil be drained and replaced at 1000 hour.
