NORAM ACQUIRES PREMIER PERFORMANCE RACING CLUTCH LINE
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — Jeff Hargarten, President of NORAM, recently announced the company’s purchase of Premier Performance, Inc., a Richfield, Wisconsin, based supplier of go kart clutch, go kart parts, and other power transfer components. “The integration of Premier Performance under the NORAM corporate umbrella illustrates our ongoing commitment to broaden the spectrum of products and services we provide to our customers in the kart racing market segment,” Hargarten stated.
As a result of this strategic acquisition, NORAM will enhance its single source supplier capabilities and expand its customer base by adding custom machined and stamped sprockets, wheel hubs and sprocket carriers, as well as three additional kart racing clutches, to the company’s already impressive lineup of components. Included in the mix is Premier’s Titan clutch, which has been tested, approved and chosen by Briggs & Stratton for its World Formula engine.
“Current Premier customers will be pleased to know that we are dedicated to offering the entire mix of go kart clutches and go kart parts under the Premier brand name,” Hargarten revealed. Additionally, NORAM has already formed partnerships with many Premier distributors that will continue to actively carry the Premier line. “The transition process has been carefully designed to be seamless and stress free for all parties involved.
