NORAM CLUTCH UNVEILS NEW PAC LINEAR ACTUATOR AT EXPO 2003

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — Jeff Hargarten, President of NORAM, recently announced the introduction of the Pressurized Air Control (PAC) Linear Actuator, a revolutionary system to enable immediate compliance with ‘no cut in reverse’ government mandates. “This is a lawn and garden equipment industry first,” Hargarten stated in an interview. “There have previously been no creative solutions to resolve this dilemma.”

It requires significantly less power than a typical electric clutch, drawing less than 1/2 amp. “In addition,” Hargarten noted, “we designed it for fail safe operation. When the 12 volt power supply is shut off or depleted, the PAC Actuator system defaults to the ‘Off’ position. And, its single button engagement requires no special engine modifications, avoiding costly upgrades. It is also easy to use, troubleshoot and maintain.”

Coupling superior performance with convenience, the PAC Actuator is a stand-alone configuration that can be utilized in multiple applications. The durable design resists vibrations and temperature variations to provide years of reliable and cost-effective use.
